Onto Primo’s in Miramar… The chicken parm was pretty decent, but the penne vodka was subpar. What bothered me most was the bill. When she told me the total, it seemed higher than expected, so I questioned it. She went through the receipt item by item, but never mentioned the 18% service charge that had been added. Yes, the receipt shows the service charge — but that is after the fact. A customer does not receive the receipt before sitting down, ordering, or eating. I did not see any signage, and nobody mentioned that an automatic 18% charge applies to parties of 2 or more before we ordered. Charges like that should be clearly disclosed upfront, not only printed on the receipt after the customer is already paying. Also, they had Teddy Swims music videos playing on loop the entire time I was there, which got old pretty quickly. Overall, the experience was okay, but between the food being hit or miss and the surprise service charge, I left disappointed.

Primo’s is a fantastic Italian pizza and pasta restaurant with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The food really stands out, the chicken cutlet parm was crispy on the outside, tender inside, and packed with flavor, while the chicken Francese was light, lemony, and absolutely delicious. The pizza and pasta were just as impressive, tasting fresh and perfectly prepared. Chris was a great server, attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. Overall, a great experience with quality food and service. Definitely worth a visit!

I have been a client at Primo's for twenty plus years until a few years ago that I left the neighborhood, but yesterday I happen to be around and decided to have a slice or two or three at Primo's. I get to the door and realize it's 3 PM and Primo's opens at 4 PM. I was disappointed but understood --- however, the owner asks me what I needed and I said well, PIZZA and ROLLS. He immediately was welcoming and said we will make you a pizza, even if they are not open yet. THIS IS HOW YOU DO BUSINESS AND KEEP YOUR CLIENTS HAPPY! The pizza was delicious. Warm, fresh and delicious. The rolls -- wow! garlicky, delicious. I am so happy Primo's gets to live on long after I moved away. The restaurant has a beautiful fresh new look. EXTREMELY HAPPY that we stopped here! THANK YOU!

Today I want to share my experience visiting Primos Pizza & Pasta, which is now under new management. As a Miramar resident for over 15 years—and having previously lived in Pembroke Pines, a neighboring city—I’ve seen many places and restaurants change names, owners, and administrators. This particular spot has always stayed true to its roots as an Italian restaurant specializing in pizza and pasta, the kind of place I’d describe as perfect for grabbing a meal with friends after a baseball or soccer game, or enjoying time with family and kids. Years ago, it was excellent—especially during its first ownership. I remember the original owners were Italians with accents straight out of a Robert De Niro movie 😊. After that, I’m not sure how many owners it went through, but I believe some of them gave the place a bad reputation. However, during my recent visit under the latest management, things have finally changed for the better. On Monday, December 8, 2025, I had a fantastic experience. From the very beginning, the service was excellent, and the food was outstanding. Visited Primo’s Pizza & Pasta because it was near the local hospital where I had been visiting a family member. The food was delicious! Large portions, very good prices, and service was excellent. We had the Margherita pizza, garlic rolls, salad and minestrone soup. All tasted fresh and well made - We will definitely be back!
